The Förderverein Beluga School for Life e.V. (Sponsoring Association of the Beluga School for Life) addresses friends and supporters of the Beluga School for Life aid project in Na Nai, Thailand, who want to promote sustainable support and education for children living in the project.
The association focuses on holistic care for needy Thai children and adolescents as well as ideational and financial support of practice-oriented education. In 2005, the CEO of the Beluga Shipping GmbH, Niels Stolberg, founded the Beluga School for Life as a direct aid project for the youngest victims of the tsunami of 2004. Since then, the 240 people living in the aid project have evolved into a small village community. The objectives of the association are supported and promoted by means of membership fees, donations and events. Association members are the driving force for the success of the Förderverein Beluga School for Life e.V.
